Bajaj Auto Limited is an Indian two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturing company. Bajaj Auto manufactures and sells motorcycles, scooters and auto rickshaws. Bajaj Auto is a part of the Bajaj Group. It was founded by Jamnalal Bajaj in Rajasthan in the 1930s. It is based in Pune, Mumbai, with plants in Chakan (Pune), Waluj and Pantnagar in Uttarakhand. The oldest plant at Akurdi (Pune) now houses the R&D centre 'Ahead'. Bajaj Auto is the world's third-largest manufacturer of motorcycles and the second-largest in India. It is the world’s largest three-wheeler manufacturer.
In Greater Noida during 2014 auto expo BAJAJ Motors unvealed two 375 CC which are near to pulsar model prototypes namely PULSAR 400 SS and PULSAR 400 CS. The first model bike that Bajaj took the wraps off was the Pulsar 400 SS a super sports machine carrying the similar design as 200 SS. The bike brings a sports look with a twin projector headlights, LED pilot lamps and LED indicators. The frame seems to be designed from its previous smaller model 200 NS as well as the fuel tank shape. But there are plenty of changes to make it look like much more than an NS with a fairing. But the big change is the underpinnings uniquely shaped swing arm as compared to the 200 NS. There is no official announcement from Bajaj when they are releasing Pulsar 400 SS but all are expecting that 400 CS will be on roads by Late 2014 or early 2015,so all are expecting it will be releasing soon...
